April 23rd, 2011 :: Gaudi feat. Marty Dread, Boogiemeister, Trip

:: BEATS BAZAAR & ORIGINS MUSIC events #2 ::

This show was at maximum capicity & very high vibes all around! So high that after Gaudi's amazing set of live dub n' breakz with Marty Dread rockin da mic...there was a love mob out on the sidewalk 45 minutes after the show with 30-40 people hugging, talkin' story & the cops shined bright lights to try & disperse the crowd. BIG SHOW for little makawao 2 horse town!

GAUDI will be coming back to Maui this fall as word is getting out on this producers skills & stage presence! He'll blow your socks off! Even Melissa's (see pic of her painting!)

With 12 solo albums to date, 250 music productions, 90 remixes and more than 100 compilations featuring his tracks, Gaudi has been pretty regularly present in the UK and USA iTunes Charts with his last 4 albums all gaining respectable chart postitions: Bass, Sweat & Tears” (Interchill Records) reached no.2 Europe & no.31 USA , “gaudi:testa-CONTINVVM” (Em:t Records) no.3 Europe, “Re:sonate” (Fax Records) - done in collaboration with ‘ambient legend’ Pete Namlook - no.14 Europe and no.48 USA, “Dub Qawwali” –featuring “Pakistan’s Premier Ambassador of Qawwali Music” Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan reached no.2 in USA, no.4 in the UK, no.1 on Amazon’s Electronic Music.

This guy is actually OFF THE CHARTS he is so smokin' good!

April 9th, 2011 :: Bluetech (live electronica)

Thanks to all that attended!!! The first merger of Beats Bazaar productions with Origins Music was a success with an almost sold-out capacity filling up Casanovas with that sweet Upcountry North Shore Maui tribe vibe! Big ups to all! Raised $135 for Maui Garden School Network as well! Woop Woop!

Bluetech's short bio ::
A classically trained pianist and master of the art of software
production, Bluetech's love of melody and his exquisite sense of
sound design makes him one of the most ingenious producers today.
His sound emerges from custom-built software instruments and
synthesizers and blossoms into a unique blend of idm, downtempo
and electro-infused dub that encompasses musical styles from
different parts of the globe. Ripe with emotive vistas, reflective
passages and evocative depth Bluetech’s lush digital sound palate
reflects on nature’s expression of being.
Bluetech’s latest album, “Love Songs To The Source”
(Interchill Records, 2010), employs a more dub-wise and organic
sound than on his previous releases. With the addition of live
instrumentalists and vocalists, such as Dr. Israel, Katrina Blackstone,
and Tina Malia, listeners are presented with an inviting point of
departure into the warm, spacious realms of his signature mid and
down-tempo electronica.

Thanks Melissa Bruck for the amazing painting you auctioned off so generously! And Douglas Deboer for the amazing visuals!
